Dipl.-Ing, M.Sc. Luis Miguel Kann

Luis graduated in both Architecture and Landscape Architecture at TU Berlin.

Having grown up in an urban environment strongly marked by informality where traditional top-down planning has rarely been successful in addressing pressing challenges, he has come to develop a particular interest in strategic, interdisciplinary, col­laborative, trans-scalar, and context-sensitive design.

This affinity has led him through several interdisciplinary projects in Latinamerica including Design Build projects and various working experiences in Berlin in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Urban Design.

Furthermore, Luis has accumulated several years of experience in conveying the history and design of Berlin’s built environment through specialized tours and seminars.

He currently works on different projects at an interdisciplinary Landscape Architecture studio that works across various scales, combining research and practice.
