Der Lehrstuhl für Städtebau und Regionalplanung der TU München veranstaltete am 15. und 16. März 2018 die Konferenz „Porous City – From Metaphor to Urban Agenda “. Daraus entstand der gleichnamige  Sammelband mit dem Beitrag „The City in the Anthropocene – Multiple Porosities“ von Undine Giseke.
